Who are the top 3 people you can go to in order to secure new business? Sometimes you can’t control your leads, but there are 3 leads you can always control. Focus on the leads you can control, get great at these, and you’ll be able to scale it out.
Your Top 3 Prospects
#1 Existing customers. They’re already sold on your company, product, or service. Sell them something additional, something new, or change and renew their contract to improve their situation,
#2 Referrals. These are the most underutilized source of deals for any salesperson. Are you asking for referrals? Take your existing customers and ask for a referral. If you have a great product, referrals should be easy. You can get 2 or 3 new customers come from 1 existing customer.
#3 Your competition’s customers. They are extremely qualified to be your customer too. They have the need, they have the money. Can you stand in the ring and go toe to toe with your competitor? Go to your competitor’s website and look at their testimonials. It’s a lead source.
